Mayra brings two decades of experience across sectors like insurance, law, and education, excelling in client relationship management and operational efficiency with a data-driven approach.

Currently teaching at the English Language Institute at Â鶹´«Ã½, Mayra has taught courses such as Communication in the Global Workplace, Principles of Marketing, and Business Ethics. Her teaching philosophy revolves around sharing her extensive real-life work experiences and fostering meaningful discussions with students to gain insight into their perspectives on the modern world.

She holds an M.B.A. from Duke UniversityÂ鶹´«Ã½™s Fuqua School of Business and a B.S. from Boston University, complemented by a certificate in Business Communication from Cornell University. Fluent in Spanish, she brings a valuable cross-cultural dimension to her work.

Outside of her professional pursuits, Mayra cherishes time spent in Honduras, participates in multiple book clubs, and stays active by pursuing invigorating workout routines.
