Laurie Brown Kindred has been managing performing arts productions at Pace since 2017. Before coming to Pace, she managed and created live entertainment and special events for more than twenty years, ranging from Broadway, Off-Broadway, China, Theme Parks, corporate events, non-profit and much more. As Associate General Manager, she worked on BroadwayÂé¶¹´«Ã½™s A Tale of Two Cites and Off BroadwayÂé¶¹´«Ã½™s Summer of Âé¶¹´«Ã½™42 & All Too Human (also directed). She also managed ChinaÂé¶¹´«Ã½™s first Broadway production, Soul of Shaolin in 2009, and the 2008 Chinese production of Dream of Red Chamber at New YorkÂé¶¹´«Ã½™s Jazz at Lincoln Center. Other credits include: Production Manager for the original international award-winning musical KaTonga at Busch Gardens Tampa (winner of 2004 IAAPAÂé¶¹´«Ã½™s Big E Award), WagnerÂé¶¹´«Ã½™s GOTTERDAMMERUNG with the LA Philharmonic at the Hollywood Bowl, and SeaWorld Adventure ParksÂé¶¹´«Ã½™ Believe, in which she also served as Video Director (winner of 2006 IAAPAÂé¶¹´«Ã½™s Big E Award and THEAÂé¶¹´«Ã½™s Best Outdoor Show Award). Between 2009 Âé¶¹´«Ã½“ 2019, she managed the annual cultural event Japan Day @ Central Park, which is attended by more than 50,000 people in one day. In her spare time, Laurie serves as Lead Volunteer for JennyÂé¶¹´«Ã½™s Garden in Riverside Park, which serves West Harlem and supplies several harvests to local soup kitchens on an annual basis.
